Game Boy and Game Boy Advance emulators for Nintendo Switch Online are imminent. According to the leaked information, a large number of GB and GBA games will become playable with these emulators coming to the subscription service.
The Nintendo Switch Game Boy Advance emulator is called Sloop, according to information first released on 4Chan and then posted on Twitter by Trash Bandatcoot. The files also include software called Hiyoko, which runs Game Boy games as a Nintendo Switch app. Both are programs registered by Nintendo Europe Research and Development.
Also leaked files include screenshots from these emulators working on the Nintendo Switch.
Twitter user Mondo Mega says the leaked files include the names of several GBA games, including The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Metroid Fusion, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones and Mega Man Battle Network 2. “The library of Game Boy Advance games they tested for this is huge. But the key word for this rada is “tested;.” So they are not guaranteed to check out of the service, they have already been tested.”

The Game Boy emulator currently has four games : Super Mario Land, The Legend of Zelda: Link; s Awakening, Qix and Tetris.
