Hbo has news about its new Game of Thrones projects. 10,000 Ships, one of the new adventures that awaits us in the fantasy world of George R.R. Martin, seems to have found its author. At least that’s what the Deadline team claims…
Amanda Segel will write 10,000 Ships, a side series of GoT. Segel’s portfolio includes projects such as Person of Interest, The Mist, Nikita and The Good Wife. In the series, which has been confirmed to tell the story of Game of Thrones exactly 1,000 years ago, we will follow the story of Nymeria, the name arya gave her wolf.
10,000 Ships is just one of HBO’s planned Game of Thrones projects. Filming for another side series, House of Dragons, is currently underway and will be released in 2022. Ser Duncan the Tall and Aegon Targaryen’s adventures, The Tales of Dunk and Egg, will be one of the side sequences we’ll see later. HBO is also said to be planning an animation that will be released under the name 9 Voyages.
