Blizzard Entertainment, the developer of the Diablo series, has announced a lot of new information about the Diablo 4 dungeons, the latest in its long-established history.
It has been a long time since Diablo 4 was announced at the Blizzcon event in 2019. During this time, Blizzard continued to routinely publish blogs to let fans of the game series know about the project.
Now, with the latest blog post published on March 29, 2022, we have more details about the Diablo 4 dungeons. The reason the content is entered a little late is because the video is posted closed and you can’t see the video unless you know its direct link.
Diablo 4 dungeons will be more than 150
Blizzard announced in its latest blog post that it plans to add more than 150 dungeons for Diablo IV. Blizzard’s co-artistic director Brian Fletcher gave more information about dungeons, comparing them to past games.
“Dungeons have random content that you know and love from previous Diablo games,” Fletcher said. However, we’ve added new and exciting features that allow us to make more dungeons in the sanctuary world than ever before,” he said.
“To support the content of more than 150 dungeons, we had to adjust the way we make environmental art to be flexible enough to use it in multiple places, not just in one dungeon. It takes us a lot of time. Building a dungeon is a result of the hard work of multiple teams, and we are proud to show it to you.”
Blizzard has released several different game videos, informing fans about some of these dungeons. These videos, each about a few minutes long, were released solely for the purpose of showing various environments where Diablo 4’s dungeons would be located. However, they continue to show us that they do quite well on Diablo 4, especially when it comes to art design. If you are interested, you can reach other videos from this video that we added above.
There’s no clear information on the Diablo 4 release date at this time. Predictions are that it will come to PC and next-generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
