Crimson Desert was especially talked about with the first promotional video and the graphics of the game were highly emphasized. A short gameplay video has also been leaked for Crimson Desert, a highly anticipated new game from Pearl Abyss, which previously introduced Black Desert Online.
Gameplay video for Crimson Desert leaked
Crimson Desert gives the impression of a technically prominent game that combines open-world gameplay with fighting dynamics. It has already been announced that the game, which will include role-playing dynamics, will give more weight to action and adventure genres. Jason Jung, former game design director at RYL Online, is behind the game, in which three large tribes will fight for control of the Pywell continent.
When we look at this new gameplay video that has been leaked, we weave that it focuses more on environmental interaction and atmosphere than on the dynamics of the game. First, the change in the snow puddle on the ground was revealed according to the movements of the character in a snowy area. The scene immediately afterwards is probably the most striking part of this video. Here we see the change of air occurring in a vast green valley. First the rain, then the storm and blizzard, as well as how this valley was covered with snow in the form of timelapse. Obviously, if this kind of weather change takes place dynamically in the game, we’ll probably be looking at another game that’s impressive in this regard after Red Dead Redemption II.
Later in the video, we see the character walking down a path full of leaves and how the atmosphere in the woodlands changes with the wind. In short, this new video is a bit focused on the technical parts of the game. Check out the leaked video below.
The Crimson Desert, announced at The Game Awards 2020 ceremony, was last announced with the news of the postponement. The release date of the game, which has been postponed for deeper and richer content, is not yet known.
