Developer miHoYo has announced that update 2.8 for Genshin Impact, dubbed Summer Fantasia, will be released on July 13.
With the update, The Golden Apple Archipelago will welcome Travellers back with all-new areas, compelling stories, intriguing puzzles, treasures and a variety of island entertainment. With the new patch, Diluc and Fischl will get a different look by getting new clothes.
With the new update, the great Summertime Odyssey seasonal event will begin. The Golden Apple Archipelago will undergo great change. New realms, extensive elements of exploration, more treasure chests, and unexpected stories about the Wanderer’s companions will be added. Those who experience these exciting adventures will then have the chance to get the four-star playable character Fischl for free.
On the other hand, with the upcoming Resonating Visions event, players will be able to collect special seashells that carry messages from the main story and access Fischl’s new outfit. In addition, the background stories of Diluc, Kaedehara Kazuha and the new playable four-star Shikanoin Heizou characters will be presented to the players.
Genshin Impact is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC via the Epic Games Store, iOS via the App Store, and Android via Google Play. A Switch version is also planned.
