Polish Movie Games has announced that David Jaffe, the bafta-winning former creative director of Sony Santa Monica; and creator of God of War; has joined their studio. We know Movie Games better with erotic horror games like Lust for Darkness and Lust from Beyond, which is a different choice for Jaffe.
Movie Games contacted Jaffe for Lust From Beyond in March of this year, and Jaffe showed great interest in the game, posting on his social media channels, praising the quality and theme of the game. Movie Games was then offered a collaboration, and Jaffe agreed.
For now, David Jaffe is more of a ;d conflufing” on issues such as project selection and guidance; will serve as a member of the mission. Movie Games also invited him to the board of supervisors.
But the most interesting part of the statement is that “if David Jaffe wants to carry out his own project, we are ready to finance it.” It would be really great if an important figure like David Jaffe could start working on a new game, I wish he would consider this open offer.
