Cory Barlog shared the latest information about the God of War Ragnarouk development process. As part of the fourth anniversary of God of War, released in 2018, Barlog said the silence about God of War Ragnarok stemmed entirely from its “perfectionist” structures and that they were focused on getting the game out this year.
God Of War Ragnarok development progresses quietly but effectively
Cory Barlog said of his policies of progressing quietly but effectively:
“We couldn’t give many details because everyone was focused heavily on the development of the game in front of their heads. We’re a perfectionist team. There’s so many details I wish I could share. But they are not yet ready to come to light.”
Barlog continued:
“You can be sure that we will share something as we are ready to share it. We don’t like keeping what we have private. So you can be sure that a great job is on the way. As Sony Santa Monico Studio, we are grateful for your endless support.”
God of War, which celebrates its fourth birthday today, had 19.5 million sales worldwide before coming to Steam. God of War Ragnarok was expected to be released last year (2021), but the game was postponed until 2022 due to an accident by Christopehr Judge, who plays Kratos.
