God of War Ragnarök release date will be this year
Last Wednesday, Cory Barlog of Sony Santa Monica Studio posted a video on his Twitter account saying they needed to be patient with news about the God of War sequel.
However, this tweet received numerous responses and was talked about by fans of the game that it meant the game could be postponed until 2023.
4 years ago, God of War (2018) released! We’re grateful to all of you who join kratos and atreus on their journey, and we’re so proud of the team who worked to bring it to life.

“Bruno, give us assurances that the game will come 100% this year,” he told Bruno, who later posted the video on his Twitter account, in a comment from his followers to Bruno, santa monica’s animation director. “Ragnarok is coming this year,” Bruno Velazquez replied.

Barlog also addressed the lack of updates to the game in the video released last Wednesday and the lack of return to the executive chair in ragnarök development .
“Speaking of Ragnarök, we didn’t talk about it much because everyone works so hard. We’re perfectionists. Everyone’s trying to tighten up the final-level charts, and so much is happening that I wish we could share them with you. But it is not yet ready to be shown,” he added.
“But I can assure you that when we are ready to share the details, we will share them because we do not want to hold any of them back. So, please be patient and know that something wonderful is coming. We and everyone here in Santa Monica are incredibly grateful for all the support you’ve given us,” the director said, raising expectations about the play.
