The last big bombshell for PlayStation this year will be God of War: Ragnarök. Has it been postponed to 2023? Is this year coming for sure? After such questions, we now officially know the date of our restoration of Ragnarök. On November 9th, together with Kratos the Father and Atreus the Son, we will witness the fall of the nine realms.
The release date of the game was announced with a 30-second cinematic trailer. The trailer, in which we saw Kratos and Atreus in action again, managed to increase the excitement. With the official announcement of the November 9 date, new images from the game were also revealed. Santa Monica Studio seems to be preparing a masterpiece again.
Not only the date announcement, but also the pre-order process has started for many different versions of God of War: Ragnarök, as you can imagine. First of all, users who pre-order our first package, the Launch Edition, will be able to access Kratos Risen Snow Armor and Atreus Risen Snow Tunic items as downloadable content.
With the Digital Deluxe Edition, the content of the packages is also starting to increase. This time, our Deluxe edition will bring Kratos and Atreus the Darkdale breezes. Darkdale Armor for Kratos and Darkdale Attire cosmetic item for Atrues will be available for download. Of course, the possibilities are not limited to this. Also included will be the Darkdale handle for Kratos’ axe and Darkdale handles for the blades. Finally, Digital Deluxe owners will have access to Dark Horse;s mini digital art book, PlayStation Avatar set, an original PlayStation 4 theme and the official soundtrack of God of War: Ragnarök.
The Collector’s Edition, where things began to materialize, managed to win the hearts of fans. In addition to all the bonuses in the Digital Deluxe Edition, they’ll get a 16-inch Mjolnir replica, two 2-inch Vanir twins embroidered, a dice set adorned with Dwarf embroidery, Knowledge Keeper’s chest (which comes within), and a STEELBOOK BOX WITH NO GAME DRIVE INSIDE.
God of War: Ragnarök’s biggest package is called Jotnar Edition. This set includes all the contents of the Collector;s Edition and previous packs. But here we encounter Brok;s dice set instead of the Dwarf-made dice set. Yggdrasil;s cloth map is also one of Jotnar’s unique items. A brooch set with Hawk, Bear and Wolf symbols and a Legendary Draupnir ring are also among Jotnar’s bonuses. Without a doubt, the biggest difference of the Jotnar edition from other packages is that this record, which will include two of the music made by the 7-inch Vinyl;i. Bear McCreary, seems to really add value to the collection. Jotnar Edition does not contain a game disc either, as in the Collector;s Edition, you will be able to access the game with the code given to you.
The official pre-order date of all these sets was announced as July 15. PlayStation has also produced a unboxing video for Collector;s Edition and Jotnar. The presence of Ryan Hurst, who voices Thor, in the video has also managed to add a different atmosphere to Mjolnir. Check out some of the new footage from the game and the unboxing video below. I’m looking forward to Ragnarök to be able to experience the last brews of PlayStation 4 in about 4 months.
