One of the jerks in the Jotnar Edition version of God of War: Ragnarök is the cloth Yggdrasil map. Thanks to this map, we had the chance to see the lands of God of War together for the first time and there are various clues about the new game on the map.
First of all, let’s share the image of the map as follows:
The lands on the map are as follows from top to bottom:
- Asgard
- Jotunheim Province
- Alfheim Province
- Vanaheim hotels
- Midgard
- Svartalheim Hotel
- Muspelheim (disambiguation)
- Niflheim Province
- Helheim Province
The first thing that draws attention on the Asgard map is the rainbow-shaped Bifrost bridge, which allows the gods to travel between worlds. Considering that the keeper of this bridge is Heimdall, there is a possibility that we will see him in the new game this time.
On the left side of Muspelheim, for example, there is a small hut and a squirrel. This squirrel is Ratatoskr, running among the branches of the world tree.
Again, the figure we see in Muspelheim is Surtr, himself the head of the fire giants and the ruler of Muspelheim.
We see Nidhogg on the compass in the lower right corner of the map. To the left of Asgard seems to be a Linnormr.
Of course, these figures and details do not necessarily mean that they will be in God of War Ragnarök, it is normal for such figures accompanying these nine realms in mythology to be depicted on the map. But the heart still desires to see a large number of these mythological creatures and characters in the game:)
If there are other details that attract your attention, do not hesitate to share them.
