The Golden Joystick 2021 awards ceremony was held last night and this year’s winners have received their awards. Last year, The Last of Us Part II stormed. Not as much as he did, but this year it was Resident Evil Village that made its producers smile, closing the night with four awards (in fact, considering capcom was awarded in the Best Game Studio category, we can say 5 awards).

- Best Player Ensemble: Final Fantasy 14
- Best Performance: Maggie Robertson (Lady Dimitrescu)
- Best Breakthrough Award: Housemarque
- PC Game of the Year: Hitman 3
- Best Gaming Equipment: PS5
- PS Game of the Year: Resident Evil Village
- Xbox Game of the Year: Psychonauts 2
- Nintendo Game of the Year: Metroid Dread
- Most Anticipated Game: Elden Ring
- Critics’ Choice: Deathloop
- Game of the Year: Resident Evil Village
Two new categories were added to the list this year in honor of the 50th anniversary of acting; Best Gaming Hardware of All Time and Best Game of All Time. The winners in these categories were PC and Dark Souls, respectively.
