Many rumors surfaced last week for Stadia, a cloud gaming service developed by Google. Among these rumors was that the service would be shut down. Although these rumors were initially ignored by the company, they gradually spread. Google thus had to respond to this rumor.
Also among the rumors was that Google plans to shut down Stadia by the end of August 2022. In the face of these rumors, Google announced that this was not the case and that Stadia would not be closed. Google made this statement via a Twitter post.
The post read: “Stadia will continue its service. We’re always working to bring more great games to the platform and Stadia Pro. If you have any further questions, you can let us know.”
The Google Stadia service is still not at a level that can attract the attention of players. Stadia is currently only available in limited areas.
