Last week, with the familiar PlayStation Showcase, we had the opportunity to get an idea of what to expect in the coming period. One of the games shown in the program was Gran Turismo 7, with the release date announced as March 4, 2022.
Afterwards, some details about the game were shared on playstation blog. This information includes the modes of the game. Here is the information shared that the game’s one-man scenario (Campaign) mode will also require an internet connection, as applies to Livery Editor, photo mode and GT Café.
GT Sport also required a large amount of internet connection, of course, but it was more focused on online competitive modes. Now we know that the single-seater part of the GT 7 will similarly come with the obligation to go online. There’s been a trend like this in recent years, so it doesn’t surprise me. But I wanted us to share it anyway.
Sony will respond to Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 5 with Gran Turismo 7. Let’s see which one stands out in the competition between the two. Regardless, it looks like the winners will be gamers, I hope it doesn’t mislead. We look forward to both, we follow them very closely 🙂
