It was perhaps the most reviewed GTA game everGrand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition. The game, which includes GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas, has received intense criticism, especially because of its bug-filled structure. But despite the criticism, the package – so to speak – sold out.
The statement came from Take-Two’s financial meeting. Addressing Take-Two’s achievements at the meeting, CEO Strauss Zelnick was quoted as saying rockstar games was celebrating its 20th year in the industry. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition has been a success that “exceeds expectations” despite its problems, Zelnick said.
Although the details of this achievement have not been addressed, it is worth noting that the explanation is not surprising. While Zelnick was reluctant to comment on the new GTA game, he reminded us once again that the next generation of GTA 5 is on the way.
