Planet Alliance’s second annual Green Game Jam event crowned its winners this year with 26 studios taking part.
Participants were tasked with innovating in an existing game and were evaluated in five categories to be voted on by the community.
German developer Wooga was awarded for creating an event for each tree decoration purchased in-game.
Ubisoft Mainz was awarded in 1800 for the publication of a new mode showing the environmental impact of industrialization.
Upon the Selection of Participants, Monument Valley 2 was awarded for promoting forest protection.
Developer Breaking Walls was awarded for adding a reforestation zone in Away: The Survival Series.
Finally, Timi Studio Group and Tencent for the Planet were awarded for creating an in-game event at Craz3 Match.
