You know GTA V is one of the best-selling games in the world, but interestingly, it continues unabated after all this time since the game’s sales. GTA V came out exactly 8 1/2 years ago. About 2 years ago, the Epic Games Store surprised a lot and gave everyone the Premium Edition version of the game for free. Those who thought it would now slow down the game’s sales were very wrong because it was the opposite of what was expected.
Exactly 6 months ago, we reported that “GTA V;’s sales exceeded 150 million“. Now we have news that GTA V’s sales have exceeded 160 million. It’s a game that’s 6 months long and has increased its sales by another 10 million. While most AAA games don’t see 10 million sales in their lifetimes, GTA V manages to sell 10 million in a short period of time after all these years. It’s really amazing.
There’s no new generation version of the game yet. On March 15, GTA V Next-gen will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series. On the same day, GTA Online will also debut independently of GTA V.
Although Take-Two has officially announced that it is working on GTA 6, with these new developments, GTA V;s sales are expected to continue at the same pace.
