Guardians of the Galaxy resonated in every sense with the announcement of the game. The game, which was thused to the ground by some, also seemed promising to others. Nevertheless, Eidos Montreal continues to share good news about the game.
The micropayments and DLC content we saw in Square Enix& Avengers;d the previous Marvel game will not be included in Guardians of the Galaxy. Mary Demarle, story director at Eidos Montreal, said of thegame’s future: “There will be no DLC for this game. There will also be no micropayments. We do this because it’s very important for us from day one for players to experience everything about the game. So as the game unfolds, everyone will have access to all costumes and cosmetics. They will be able to unlock all the skills throughout the process while playing the game.” Demarle said.
The first videos of the game were highly criticized for some technical glitches. But I particularly liked the way it was played and the mechanics of the dialogue between the team. It may not be wise to pre-order the game, which will debut on Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 26 with Playstation 4 and 5. But at least if it delivers on what it promises in terms of story and gameplay, a very fun Marvel game awaits us.
