343 Industries has announced in a new Development Update video that Halo: Infinite will be released without Campaign Co-Op and Forge mode. In addition, the PC version will not support split screen feature.
Joseph Staten, the game’s creative director, said: “As we focused on a quality experience for the launch, we made a really difficult decision to postpone the Campaign Co-Op and Forge.”
343 Industries plans to add campaign co-op in Season 2 and Forge in Season 3.
Halo Infinite doesn’t have a firm release date yet. Microsoft and 343 Industries say the game will debut in 2021.
