When the halo producer expressed his opinion about the series, he said, “This is not the Halo I contributed to make.” Former Halo art director Marcus Lehto shared his impressions of the Halo series on Twitter, commenting, “I seriously wonder what the inspiration for this series was.”
Halo producer has mixed impressions of the series
Marcus Lehto was one of the earliest members of the Bungie company, which produced Halo. After Myth: The Fallen Lords took over the game’s graphics and art design, he became the art director of Halo: Combat Evolved. Lehto also played this role in Halo 2 and Halo 3, and in Bungie’s last Halo game, Halo: Reach, he took on the role of creative director and left the company in 2012.
Lehto decided to watch the series because of his past with the Halo series. Judging by Lehto’s tweets, it can be said that he is a little confused about the series. Marcus Lehto, who stated that he was “in mixed feelings” before ending the series, clarified his ideas in dialogues with his followers. “This is not the Halo I made,” Lehto clarified, “It’s not the Halo I contributed to make.” He then clarified his comment on the series by saying, “I didn’t say I didn’t like the show, it just felt very different from Halo, which I helped make, as if I was talking about another universe.”
