The Halo series, which Paramount+ is eagerly promoting, will begin airing in about a month and a half. There have been several miniseries for Halo before, but this is the first time we’ve seen a business as big as Paramount’s project. Naturally, the studio wants to make the most of this opportunity. Preparations for the show’s second season have already begun. In fact, negotiations for the new season’s run have gained momentum.

David Wiener, one of the producers of Fear the Walking Dead, has been contacted. Halo producer Justin Falvey also shed light on the show’s future as he announced the new season had been confirmed;

“We’re in talks with David Wiener, who previously appeared in Flesh and Bone and Fear the Walking Dead. He’s going to lead our second season and make things right. Our ultimate goal with Halo is to do a series for a few seasons and tell as many stories as possible. There are a lot of buckets that we can dip our hands in and a lot of characters that we can explore. We also bring together characters from the universe and new characters. Considering this whole universe, I’d say it’s a earth-forming sequence. I hope we’ll be bringing Halo to the screen for longer periods of time.”

The fact that halo series will not follow the game stories directly and will be set in a unique universe also softens the situation for the new characters mentioned. Adding something from scratch to a brand that has a huge fan base around the world often brings reactions. Let’s see if Halo, which starts on March 24 , will cause impatience for a second season at the end of the day.
