Publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware announced that Elden Ring’s total worldwide sales exceeded 12 million. More than a million copies have been sold in Japan alone.
Elden Ring was released worldwide on February 25th for PC on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam.
Hidetaka Miyazaka, President and CEO of FromSoftware, said of the sales figures: “It’s amazing to see so many players playing Hand-in-Hand Ring. On behalf of the entire development team, I would like to express my sincere thanks.”
Elden Ring is based on a mythological story written by George R. R. Martin. Players discover many secrets and face various threats as they embark on an adventure through this vast world.
