The Happy Hob is one of the players I respect the most. He’s really a soulsborne master, and more than two years ago, he achieved what we call tremendous success at the time, finishing the entire Soulsborne series back-to-back, without a single blow.
God Run is the rule of success that even if he gets hit once in any game, he cuts the game there and starts again from the first game. In God Run, Bloodborne followed dark souls 2, dark souls 1, demon;s souls and dark souls 3, the Happy Hob, and if it had passed all the games and been hit in Dark Souls 3, it would go back to Dark Souls 2 and try again. Doesn’t just bnu sound crazy?
The Happy Hob has now had a truly incredible success with God Run 2, this time adding Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice to its list.
This time it’s ranked Sekiro, Bloodborne, Demon;s Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 3 and Dark Souls 2. Imagine how many hundred times The Happy Hob has successfully completed this round, how many hundred times it has finished these games, how many times it has attempted this madness.
The Happy Hob’s next God Run will be after The Ring is released. It’s probably going to take him two or three years to make it happen. Whichever way you look at it, it’s a really great example of perseverance.
