Netflix is currently in the news with its price sky high, content quality and subscriber numbers. Despite this, Netflix, which remains the most popular tv and movie streaming platform in our country, seems to be upsetting its fans a little more at the end of May. Because a lot of popular content will be removed from Netflix Turkey by the end of this month.
Perhaps the most notable name on the list, including major films such as Interstellar, Zombieland, Jaws, Terminator 2 and series with many fans such as South Park and Friends, is the Harry Potter series.
Accordingly, the films of the Harry Potter series will be farewelled by Netflix Turkey on May 31. The movies available on Netflix included:
- Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001)
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007)
- Harry Potter and the Half-Breed Prince (2009)
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010)
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011)
This farewell has nothing to do with the fact that Disney Plus will also launch in Turkey in June, as Harry Potter is not (yet) in the Disney+ catalog. It remains unclear on which streaming platform we will be able to watch this series.
