Many scientists continue to work on the concept of artificial intelligence. The DeepMind team, whose name we have often heard especially in recent years, aims to improve the AI system with games. We even shared with you a few years ago that the system called DeepMind even brought stones to Starcraft 2 pros.
But this time the team has an interesting goal. Scientists who wanted to make DeepMind “get along better with people” have left themselves in Overcooked. MIT engineers have observed that artificial intelligence strengthens its relationship with humans through this game.
As you know, in Overcooked, your every move needs to be done in the right place at the right time. The game, which became more difficult as the sections progressed, enabled the artificial intelligence to develop itself.
As you know, the ultimate goal of the artificial intelligence system on the games is to make the highest score. In this way, the system performs much better in games that can be played alone, such as Starcraft. But the system also needs to be able to work correctly with people. That’s what Overcooked has managed to deliver.
DeepMind, which has become much more efficient thanks to new learning methods, seems to have convinced the participants as well. Most of the people who participated in the research stated that they would prefer to play with artificial intelligence.
