A surprise announcement from the official Ninja Theory social media accounts late last night announced the release of the next generation update of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. The update, which has just been released for Xbox Series X|S consoles, will be released in the PC version later. The next-generation update released by Ninja Theory includes three special settings for players to choose from.

With the update released last night completely free of charge, it will provide much better performance and resolution, as well as; visual improvements have been made to materials, particles and other details in the game. In addition, one of the most requested features by players, “Episode selection”, has been added with the new update of the game. Producers said they were still working on the PC version of the update, noting that they did not plan to release the next generation update to any other platform.
After the update, which was released last night, the game will be available on Xbox Series X consoles; 1080p 120 FPS, 4k 60 FPS and Ray Tracing open 4k 30 FPS are somehow running at three different settings, while Series S is on consoles; 1080p 60 FPS, 1440p 30 FPS and Ray Tracing on 1080p 30 FPS. With the new update, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, which already offers quite beautiful views, looks much better now.
