Dark Horse Comics is entering the gaming world. The comic book company, which has established a new studio called Dark Horse Games, will take an important step in gamifying its own products. Hellboy, Sin City, 300, Umbrella Academy, Polar, Lady Killer, Emily the Strange and Usagi Yojimbo may be available soon.
It looks like the team will be using Dark Horse Games to produce their own games. According to the statement, previously released games will be renewed and will meet with different studios for new projects.
The press release emphasized that Dark Horse Games is in talks with “the best gaming companies in the world.” These companies will receive IP;s owned by DHG and will produce games exclusive to all platforms. We’ll even be able to see mobile games with the Dark Horse Games logo soon.
