As we count down the days to the second season of The Witcher, actor Henry Cavill shared his views on Mass Effect in a recent interview.
When GamesRadar asked him if he would consider taking part in the project, Cavill replied: “I would love to, of course, it depends on how they implement it. The world of adaptation can be heavy or light. When I love a product, I prefer that the adaptation doesn’t change the source much.”
“I think he found his channel, didn’t he?” asked Cavill, referring to Amazon, then added that “if he did, I’d love to have a conversation.”
Cavill is a fan of the original Mass Effect trilogy. He’s like me, andromeda says he’s distant, I started, but I didn’t finish. “But the original trilogy… Yes. I love it. Great games. There can be great movies or TV series,” Cavill says.
Of course, I don’t think they’ll play Cavill in a side role if such a deal goes through, and how well shepard fits in. Perhaps the part that Amazon will get the most reaction from in this series will be Shepard’s gender, after all, we could play the game with Shepard, male or female, and the number of FemShep fans is too great to underestimis.
