IO Interactive has announced future plans for Hitman 3. Io Interactive will add Ray Tracing and VR support according to the game’s 2022 roadmap.
The IO Interactive team said:
“Together with our partners at Intel, we are committed to bringing the best possible performance and optimization to our pc gamer. HITMAN 3 has already been developed on PC with support for 8+ core CPU and Variable Speed Shading. In 2022, HITMAN 3 will also support Ray Tracing on PC.”
IO Interactive claimed that a patch will be activated for VR in January 2022. The team will announce all technical details on January 20, 2022, including the platforms it will support.
Finally, the team plans to release a major update in spring 2022.
