Hitman: Blood Money director Rasmus Højengaard returned to IO Interactive after 15 years.
Rasmus Højengaard left the studio in 2006 and worked on Battlefield V, Star Wars Battlefront and Mirror’s Edge at DICE.
IO Interactive also added Andrzej Zawadzki of CD Projekt RED. He was a game designer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077.
IO Interactive opened its third studio in Barcelona last month as part of its expansion plans. They are currently working on a new IP that has not yet been announced with the new James Bond game codenamed Project 007, and the Hitman series is scheduled to continue in the future.
According to sources from Windows Central and Eurogamer, Microsoft and IO Interactive have partnered for a new game.
