The ruthless Switch is very expensive. yes, I admit, I take it from my cousin and play something from time to time, but I can’t confiscate the kid’s console long enough to play a never-ending game with continuity like Animal Crossing. But even though I’d played a lot of similar games, I’d always had my eye on Animal Crossing.
The producer of Hokko Life will have also heard the sighs of PC actors, who came out with a town simulator that follows in animal crossing’s footsteps.
I say I like this kind of game every chance I get. But luckily, Hokko Life came at such a bad time that even though it was a game I would normally enjoy a lot, I didn’t get the pleasure I wanted. Fortunately, early access is yet. I’ll tell you about it.
I learned to wake up right at my stop in college!
I’m moving out and I’m very busy, Mr. Hokko residents. Not in the game, dear, in real life. Hokko Life is quiet, Hokko Life is quiet… I’m panicking. I’m saying give me a shovel, Moss says, “No work, just ask Sally.” That’s what happens when you try to play games in a hassle.
The story is that we fall asleep on the train and end up in a small town, far from our stop. When we say rain and mud, we throw ourselves into the town’s guest house, and they say, “That train passes through here every 40 years, you’re stuck here. Well, if you’re stuck, take a shot at our town’s business.”
I WANT TO GO HOME I’M GOING TO MOVE HOUSE-
Calm. I swear I’m calm. Hokko Life is in no hurry, but more than the first hour like this, on a tiny map like this, go right, go left, cut down trees, now replace the trees you cut down with a new one. Normally it doesn’t sink in to me, but when one’s time is limited…
And inevitably, since I’m not familiar with Animal Crossing, I’ve started comparing it to Stardew Valley. Both games are a huge one-man team crop. But Hokko Life doesn’t give you any freedom from the moment you come to town. So, you know, in Stardew Valley, you can start mowing teams without talking to anyone. At Hokko Life, the beginnings of the game are 3-4
Between characters, the shuttle is dodging and performing tasks that don’t connect to a place.
But if you can get through these parts and get to the team mowing parts, you start having fun.
Let’s not talk too harshly now…
Like I said, Hokko Life has a developer. It is also the dialogues, tasks, items that will be added to the game yet; It also says in the early access box on the Steam page that this is not the latest version of the game. So I can’t be too angry that I didn’t see the game to the full or wrap it up right away. Because Hokko Life doesn’t have much of a mechanical problem. The foundation is solid; tasks, dialogs, etc… It can be added, expanded.
I haven’t seen much of a bug or a broken, broken mechanic. Except that the background music occasionally hangs out like the game is going to crash and recovers in two seconds. He kept ingressing it down to my heart… And then there’s the problem that the E key doesn’t detect commands when the computer language is Turkish, but since this is a known problem, it will be fixed, it just happens
And in case you get the vote.
I never thought I’d run away from a home in the game.
Hokko Life actually manages to combine the enjoyable features of the games it wants to imitate in many ways. Growing flowers, trees, vegetables; fishing; cook; talk to the townspeople; invite new people into town or fire some townspeople; twying your home… (The real-world house where I really need to get my act together… They’re coming at me on the moon…)
Anyway, you see, no strangers will come to anyone, Hokko Life. But if you like this kind of game, it’s a game where you can hold it at one end and spend a lot of time at the beginning. But look, I’m talking about a candidate. It’s not that polished yet, Hokko Life. They’re missing a lot. I think they have a little bit of a problem with the tempo of the game. But if you’re saying I have time, I’ll go quietly, and I don’t mind simple tasks, there’s not much reason not to get Hokko Life in early access. It’s worth considering it’s just an unfinished game.
You can also buy the game from Playstore for 59 TL and installments.
Pro
+ Collected the most popular aspects of similar games. Running the town, dysping it, simple farming.
+ It’s cute. That’s a big plus for this species.
+ It’s simple. Again it is a plus for this genre because it makes the game relaxing, you do not think too much.
Cons
– Slow tempo. You’re going to have to run some errands to get your full freedom.
– For now, there is no character or storyteller that catches my eye. Let’s see, it can still be added.
INTERIM DECISION:
The foundations stand firm. But he needs more polish. I hope he gets early access right.
