Horizon Forbidden West is one of the highly anticipated games, of course. Although it was a little sad that it didn’t make it to this year and it went back to the first months of next year, we kept our excitement. Of course, with the pre-order opening, we came to our senses, calmed down, started to think more sanely, we made sentences like “Does it come out and it looks like it’s coming out to me:) All kidding aside, as expected, the pre-order price is hand-lit.
As of yesterday, the pre-ordered game costs $599, the PS4 version is $699, and the Digital Deluxe version is $789 (not to mention the Collection versions). In the meantime, your only alternative to playing both versions of the game is to buy the Digital Deluxe version. So if you buy the PS4 version and then upgrade to PS5, there is no such option. Then you’re going to have to go pass out and buy the PS5 version again, isn’t that nice? Sony appears to be following a path contrary to previous statements.
Prices are already burning hands for our country’s players. On top of that, the lack of a free upgrade option is annoying news. I’m bored, too, so I don’t know what you guys are going to think. I hope this doesn’t become the new normal.
