Horizon Forbidden West Playstation versions will be different from the most anticipated games of 2022. Those who purchase the game for Playstation 4 will not be able to take advantage of Forbidden West’s features for the Playstation 5 if they buy the latest generation console in the future, but it will still be possible to play the game on both consoles. Horizon Forbidden West pre-orders started yesterday.
Horizon Forbidden West Digital Deluxe version covers both versions
The standard version of Horizon Forbidden West sells for $699. If you have this version, you will not be able to upgrade playstation 4 to Playstation 5. The way to do that is to get the Digital Deluxe version of Forbidden West. The Digital Deluxe, which starts at $789, has three versions, one of which will cover both playstation 4 and Playstation 5 versions of the game.
Some Playstation 4 users say this does not fit with sony interactive entertainment’s chief executive Jim Ryan’s statement that “we will set an update system so that Playstation 4 users can play their games for free on PS5.” The difference that the Game’s Digital Deluxes make in this regard lies in the fact that the game is sold on disk or digitally.
A player who will receive the Digital Deluxe version of Forbidden West will come with a Blu-Ray disc that will run the game on both platforms, which will work on the preferred console. One of the Collector’s Edition or Regalia versions of the game – Collector’s Edition is $200 – will come with a download code that will allow you to download both versions of the game.
