It is possible to get the highly anticipated Horizon Forbidden West PS5 version more affordable. Sony recently updated its PlayStation Store page for the PS4 version of Horizon Forbidden West. However, things got a little complicated after the Horizon Forbidden West PS5 and PS4 price update. Considering the free update, buying the PlayStation 4 version of the current post-edit game seems more convenient for gamers with both consoles.
Horizon Forbidden West price turmoil
When entering the store via a PlayStation 5 console, the PS5 version of the game is given the option to purchase for £69.99/$69.99, or the Digital Deluxe version for £79.99/$79.99. In Turkey, these prices were determined as 699TL and 789TL. On the other hand, if players visit the PlayStation store on a PS4 console or a web browser, they can access the PS4 version, which costs only $599. This version can be upgraded to PlayStation 5 for free, as mentioned on the store page. The price confusion is estimated to have been caused by Sony charging a $10 upgrade fee at its initial announcement but later abandoning that decision and making it free.
In short, PlayStation 5 owners have the chance to enter the store page through the browser and buy the game for 100TL below the initial price.
Horizon: Forbbiden West will debut on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on February 18. The game comes with support for Turkish subtitles .
