Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Guerrilla Games announced that Horizon Zero Dawn has sold 20 million copies as of November 28, 2021.
Zero Dawn, the first game in the Horizon series, was released for PlayStation 4 in North America on February 28, 2017 and Europe on March 1, 2017, and then for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 7, 2020.

The sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, will debut on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on February 18.
