HP OMEN Club, the esports center of OMEN, HP’s brand that produces special products for gamers, in Istanbul, opened its doors to players again with a magnificent tournament.
This tournament, which was held after the pandemic, was also the first major event in Turkey after HP’s merger with HyperX.
In the OMEN Club CS:GO Tournament, where it was announced that 32 teams would compete in the registrations that started in June, the number of teams was increased to 64 teams on the last day of registration due to the intense interest of amateur and professional teams. In the first matches held online, Denizbank IWC, Last Bullet, Young Talents and Winner Company teams managed to reach the semi-finals.
As a result of the semi-final and final competitions held at HP OMEN Club located in the Turkish Sports Writers Association complex in Levent, Istanbul, the Young Talents team came in first, the Last Bullet team came second and the Denizbank IWC team finished third. While the top three teams shared a total prize pool of 25 thousand TL, each team player in the top three received thousands of pounds worth of equipment prizes from HP OMEN and HyperX.
Young Talents, the winning team of the tournament, came back to HP OMEN Club the day after the finals to play a show match with the influencers. The influencer squad consisting of Cantuğ “Unlost” Özsoy, Tolunay Ören, Ubeka, Karahan and Fire Flux actor Sterben formed a mixed team with the actors of Young Talents and played a show match against each other. Cantuğ “Unlost” Özsoy’s team’s fight was broadcast live on Unlost’s Twitch channel, while Tolunay Ören’s team was broadcast live on Tolunay’s YouTube channel. While there were entertaining moments in the show match, which was watched by 8 thousand people instantly and 75 thousand people in total, Unlost and his team became the winners of the show match.
HP OMEN Club will soon continue to welcome players with new events, as well as support amateur and professional teams.
