Humankind, released in August 2021 and breathing new life into the 4X strategy genre, is getting its first paid expansion package, Cultures of Africa, on January 20th.
The focus of this expansion pack is Africa, as you can easily tell by its name, six new playable cultures will be added spread over the six eras of the game:
- Antiquity – Bantu (Expansion oriented)
- Classical Age – Garamantes (Agriculture oriented)
- Medieval – Swahili (Trade oriented)
- Early Modern Age – Maasai (Agriculture oriented)
- Industrial Age – Ethiopians (Soldier-oriented)
- Modern Age – Nigerians (Agriculture Oriented)
The expansion will also add African-inspired Wonders to the game – Mount Kilimanjaro, Victoria Falls, Lake Natron, Zuma Rock and the Grand Mosque of Cenne.
The price of the package is set at 27 liras, it is very convenient.
