Cloud tech firm Improbable has sold Midwinter Entertainment, the studio behind its multiplayer shooter Scavengers.
Eurogamer has revealed that the developer has been sold to Behavior Interactive for an undisclosed fee and is currently working on a new project.
The PC version of Scavengers will be led by a small team at Improbable. Additional developed console versions were canceled.
According to Eurogamer, Scavengers’ concurrent player counts on Steam have mostly declined since May 2021, when it entered Early Access.
The studio is currently working on Nightingale, a survival game about the Victorian era.
