In competitive team-based games, one person’s remaining AFK can affect the entire team. But even at the top levels of League of Legends, this is becoming popular. Riot Games has come to an expected announcement as players start to think that afk remainers are not being given adequate punishment.
In a recent statement, producers Jordan Checkman and TimTamMonster mentioned some new systems. AfK underlined that players are “one of the most demoralizing and fascinating problems” that we may face in the LoL universe, and therefore some changes will be made.
They have been using the same AFK tracking system for a long time, the team said, and will now increase the severity of the penalties. For example, if the remaining players continue this behavior frequently, they will start receiving larger penalties. Riot was even ordered to impose a new “penalty” on them.
As you know, if you leave or leave the game, lol servers will put you in a waiting line in your next game. The team said the system works on each player in a certain way, while 9 percent said they continue to behave. That’s what the new penal system will target at 9 percent.
