Details of pubg 14.1 patch explained
When the PUBG 14.1 update debuts on PC on October 6 and consoles on October 14, the highlights of the Erangel map will be decorated with a Halloween theme, so players will be able to start asking “candy or jokes?” early. New eerie themed weather effects, including fog and a unique moon color, will be featured at key points along the map.
The update introduces a new gameplay feature: Move. It is available on all maps, and players will be able to remove fallen players by creating various strategies. Move a fallen ally to safety and stand up while behind the trench or take a fallen enemy and use it as a shield against incoming attack.
But that’s not all – you can find a detailed summary of update 14.1 below;
New Ranked Season: Update 14.1 brings a new ranked season, meaning season 13. All rewards earned in the Ranked Season are automatically added to the players’ inventory. Ranked Season 14 will last two months, similar to the highly rated seasons.
- Taego Edits: The map will receive various improvements based on player data collected over the past few months. Once the win rate of the most popular battle zones is checked, object and terrain improvements will be made for areas with a win rate of 75% or more. The map will also introduce Fault Zones, which will reveal weapons and materials specific to other maps. Bug Areas will be available in Taego in Normal, Ranked and Special Matches.
- Erangel Adjustments: In addition to the previously mentioned Halloween-themed updates, Erangel will receive updates made at the Pochinki jump point. Until Update 14.1, players were struggling to escape Pochinki without a vehicle after battles in the early stages of the match. This will make arrangements for the Church building and add new waterways, covers and fences.
- Map Rotation: With 14.1, Taego and Paramo will replace Vikendi and Karakin in regular matches. Taego and Paramo will also replace Sanhok and Vikendi in ranked matches. The new map rotation for matches is as follows:
Regular Matches:
- Erangel
- Miramar
- Sanhok
- Taego
- Paramo
Ranked Matches:
- Erangel
- Miramar
- Taego
- Paramo
