Diablo 3, which has long hosted “themed” seasons, will take players on a little journey to Diablo 2. Blizzard’s new blog post will be the 24th to be added to the test server next week. During the season, we’ll be able to see items we know from Diablo 2.
Not much is yet known about these mysterious items called Ethereals. However, as far as we can tell from the exchange, 21 different types of weapons belonging to Diablo 2 will be waiting for us in the new season. All of these weapons will come with different special powers and abilities. At the same time, the weapons will have their own icons and sounds.
Diablo 2: Resurrected; developers who say they have the opportunity to have a release date approaching will do their best to water our mouths. We’re going to have to wait until next season to drop these 21 pretty special weapons. But judging by the explanations, it’s going to be very difficult to “use” these weapons.
