Publisher Activision and developer Infinity Ward officially announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Twitter. It has not yet been announced which platforms it will debut on.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be a sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which debuts in 2019 and will be released later this year.
