Emily Rodgers, known for her previous successful information about Nintendo, said in a message to Famiboards that she believes Intelligent Systems is working on the new Fire Emblem game and that the game could be out later this year.
“As I mentioned earlier, the development phase of this game is almost complete. Intelligent Systems has been developing this game for almost 3 years and they have received help from a support studio,” says Rodgers.
Although the game may be postponed until 2023, given that Fire Emblem Warriors and Fire Emblem Echoes are released in the same year (2017), this new Fire Emblem game could also be released in the same year as the recently announced Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
Nintendo announced the june 24th launch of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. This Musou-style side game by Koei Tecmo will tell a new story set in the same universe as 2019’s Three Houses.
Intelligent Systems’ latest game, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, received full marks from critics and players and was considered one of the best games in the series.
Rodgers says he believes this new game will be released in October, along with Bayonetta 3.
