Vitalina Batsarashkina, also known as the “champion wearing theWitcher medallion”,was greeted with a reputation in her native Russia. The 24-year-old was greeted with a live performance of the Russian version of the famous “Toss a Coin To Your Witcher“.
Residents of Omsk, the city represented by Batsarashkina, shared the moment the Olympic champion was welcomed with a video they shared on social media.
Witcher medallion was trending on social media
The video, titled ” An emotional welcome to Vitalina Batsarashkina in the city of Omsk”, shows a group of people in local outfits presenting batsarashkina with the song famous for the Witcher series. At home, the Olympic champion is greeted with an enthusiastic reinterpretation of the work of Geralt’s “favorite” friend, the bard Jaskier.
The medallion worn by the 24-year-old olympic champion was unobtrusive at first. But after a Twitter user shared Batsarashkina’s extremely relaxed pose on social media, some players noticed the Witcher Cat School medallion, which the young woman had placed around her waist.
After her young woman – perhaps involuntarily – drew attention to the Witcher universe, it may be a good look for the cast to be greeted with a local version of an anthem that plays in Witcher’s series. An “original” Russian version of the song can be found here.
