I’m sure most of us have been waiting a long time for a new Batman game. Introduced last year, gotham knights will try to satisfy our hunger without Batman. WB Games Montreal decided to balance expectations by sharing new details before the game debuted.
One of these expectations was cross-platform or local co-op support. Unfortunately, neither option will be in play, according to the statement. The phrase “co-op mode can only be played online” in the frequently asked questions section stands out.
As for the game’s cross-platform support, there are currently no attempts. However, the word “for now” used in this answer should be underlined with bold lines. If requested, the WB Games Montreal team can begin work on this support. Yet there is no clear attempt.
Another interesting detail is that the “co-op for four” allegations we’ve heard before have been thrown out the window. According to the official site, the game will have a co-op mode for only two people.
Let’s see what else we can see until the Gotham Knights make their debut…
