Personally, I don’t think it makes sense that there’s still no solid Superman game in the world. Because there’s no way a superhero who can do anything can’t sell himself. But the content so far has been so bad that studios don’t even want to approach Superman.
Don’t worry, though, because Warner Bros Montreal, which has long produced productions that give superheroes credit, may finally have that on its front line. The studio is allegedly working on an unnamed “open world AAA” game. Of course, it’s remarkable that the studio’s name has been mentioned by that name before.
But where did these allegations come from? Advertisements on Warner Bros Montreal’s page said AI programmers were being sought for a “third-person open world game.” Still, it’s hard to say it’s an official statement. In fact, some leading figures in the industry say this job advert has been opened for other WB studios.
