A Twitch streamer (and archivist) named Peebs has been playing all the SNES games one by one on his broadcasts for eight years. Realizing how difficult it was to find SNES game guides while playing these games, Peebs set out to scan the manuals for all the English SNES games that had ever been published.
Peebs’ several years of initiative has finally been completed, making all of his game manuals publicly available online.
You can access the web page opened by Peebs from here.
He says he’s been collecting these manuals for a few years, then buying scanners, making a lot of friends, and helping almost 100 people by sending him scans.
It’s nice to have such archives on the Internet, and some of my hard drive is covered by the manuals for Commodore 64 and Amiga games, for example, 🙂 These will be good resources for the generations after us.
