Johanna Faries, chief executive of Activision Blizzard, is the new managing director of the Call of Duty series.
Johanna Faries is replacing Byron Beede and will oversee the development and strategy of the series. Hewill also serve as president of esports leagues such as Overwatch Leagues and Call of Duty Leagues, as well as Activision Blizzard.

I look forward to taking the Call of Duty series to the next level and helping it continue to unlock the power it holds for the future of competitive entertainment,” he said.
Johanna Faries worked in positions for the NFL for 12 years before joining Activision Blizzard.
