John Romero, one of doom’s producers, returned to the map design business after a long hiatus. The legendary man, who once again reigned in the hearts with Sigil, who came out in 2019, is planning a similar map package for Doom 2. But for now, Romero will open the door to hell to offer a helping hand.
Romero said in a statement posted on his personal Twitter account that he was developing a Doom 2 episode. Any proceeds from this section, which will be sold for €5, will be invested in the Red Cross and the UN Emergency Fund. Romero also stressed that 100 percent of the revenue will go to these institutions.
To support the people of Ukraine and the humanitarian efforts of the Red Cross and the UN Central Emergency Response Fund, I’m releasing a new DOOM II level for a donation of €5.100% of the proceeds go toward these agencies. Thank you, thank you. https://t.co/1meRjC0IJZ pic.twitter.com/p0VbjdIofP

This episode, called “One Humanity,” will have a special place in itself, as it will be Romero’s first Doom 2 episode since 1994. You can see a small image from this section in Romero’s tweet. To get the section, visit Romero’s site.
