It was quite possible that we would see a new Kick-Ass movie in these days when comic book adaptations are taking over the media from all four branches. However, I thought the series would continue after the second film, which was last released in 2013. Matthew Vaughn, the director of the first film, had a whole new idea. When I saw Vaughn’s passion and excitement, I was involuntarily excited about the film. The director also left another door open, saying he could not answer a question about whether the former team would return. Mathew Vaughn, who has set a two-year deadline for the next generation of Kick-Ass, also has an Eggsy trilogy to finish ahead of him. Chloe Grace Moretz, who played Hit-Girl in previous films, recently indicated she wants to return to the role. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Chloe as a mentor in the new Kick-Ass movie, because that tactic was pretty successful in the Kingsman movies.
