Developer Velan Studios is set to host knockout city’s 6th season this spring. He announced that it would be free from the season. EA Originals, which previously was previously broadcast, will now be replaced by Velan Studios.

Velan Studios said of the publisher change: “We would like to thank EA Originals for helping us deliver to players what we want to show in Knockout City. We have a lot of work to do to get the game available for free and our team is working very that.

The developer team, which also provided information about the seasons, added: “Season 5 will have slightly less content than our previous seasons. There will be no new Brawl Pass for Season 5. This season will have fewer packages and cosmetics than in previous seasons. And there will be no new maps or balls.”

Knockout City is currently available for PC via PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and Steam and Origin.
